This may be a weird question but what are the chances cingular goes out of business?

im a cingular customer and I just came up with the question. How likely or unlikely is it for cingular to fold up and go out of business.(im not wishing this Im just wondering the possiblity or impossibility.)

Considering their revenue, assets and ownership (AT&T and BellSouth) with deep pockets it is extrmely unlikely Cingular could go out of business.

Never say never. Bad investment decisions can sink a company. Telcos have histories of making less than sound decisions.

Notice I didn't say no, but unlikely. Deep pockets can solve a great many problems.

Look at the Yankees.

Kevin Brown.

What a waste of money, but deep pockets conceal many bad decisions. 🤣

Just wait and see. 2006 will be the Yankees year. Actually, I think both Boston and the Yankees have to worry about Toronto.

But, it seems that my teams are taking care of your teams without much problem lately. While my Steelers are busy winning the super bowl, your bolts will just have to watch and wish they could have only held onto 1 lead this year. 🤣

To who??? Cincinnati has no shot at beating Pittsburgh - the Steelers are still mad about the loss to them - it WON'T happen again.

Coming from a steelers fan. Cinci already beat them once. They can do it again if needed.

I want to see the next Chad Johnson end-zone celebration against the steelers.

That is just how the Steelers like to be -- Under the Radar -- no one outside of Pittsburgh expecting them to be able to win.

I want to see the next Hines Ward mocking of a Chad Johnson dance.

They have a great team. I just don't know that they have what it takes to beat Seattle and Chicago. But it would be nice to see Joe Gibbs get one more.

Cingular won't be going out of business. SBC has plenty of cash til Cingular management can get their act together and make it a permanently profitable venture. Hopefully they'll see their employee's and customers as an asset instead of an expense. Still, Sigman has got to go cuz there are WAY to many complaints here & elsewhere.

Not sure about BellSouth though. Hurricanes are going to set them back for awhile.

Just the same, don't worry about the response the dumbies (sic!) gave you.

now we all know that the AFC will be won by the colts or the pats. The Steelers could not win the madden bowl with the guy behind center that was a god last year, and there running game? Ya thats right ????? do you know where it went? Cuz i think they lost it! 🙄

Yeah, because we all know that Jerome Bettis doesn't pound out those 100+ yard games making it look like child's play and Willie Parker didn't get 80 yards rushing in one play last week.

I'd say the Steeler's running game is pretty beat too. 😳

Are you kidding me?!

Oh, and don't bet your house on the Pats going far in the playoffs this year. It wouldn't be fair to your family.

You're all over him because of that! How many times have you seen someone use the word to when they meant too or used the word your instead of you're or there or they're instead of their. If you haven't noticed some of the writers in these forums aren't exactly Harvard scholars.

Some people are too busy to pay attention in 2nd grade and are busy shooting spit balls or passing notes in class (with bad spelling of course!) If they had been around then they would have been sending txt msgs back & forth back then as well.

Highly unlikely. The only doubtful possibility is them changing their name back to AT&T (because of the whole SBC thing), which, again, is doubtful. I can tell you they won't get any bigger unless they gain subscribers because the FCC (and others) has closed shop on letting Teir 1 carriers merge or buy each other out...
