Last time: Nokia 6102
My contract finally expires tommorow and im getting rid of this samsung e317 piece of garbage. Now i went to verizon and their phones are bulky and ugly.
So i was looking at cingular and i noticed that they had the 6102 in stock. Has anyone experienced the volume problems with the nokia? Ive read some have, and some have not. Also the phone itself feels like cheap, any problems with it?
I also saw the z520a, but that antenna thing is ugly and ive read bad reviews on that phone with reception and quality, which is the problem with my samsung e317.
The signal fluctuates during a call and words are muffled when people talk, a common problem with the 317 based on reviews ive read.

I agree with the part about the Nokia 6102 having a cheap feel to it (which is why I wouldn't buy one) but at the same time I haven't heard any complaints from people I know who have this phone.

Anyone who says the Z520 is crap is not doing their homework. The Z520 is an awesome phone, hands down. I've been using it for the past month, and it is my number one seller, even surpassing the V3. I'd say give the 520 a try out in your 30 days. I don't even notice the antenna thing anymore. To be honest, I don't think it's that lame looking.

what about the ringtons messing up, i got one for a friend for x-mas and she wants to bring it back!!! I say nokia, good phone the only thing it dont have is bluetooth! Nokia is nice looking all my customers love it! and if your selling the SE over the razr ash you must be lieing about the moto! and managers should not lie.

sorry no sony ericsson has reception problems. the nokia my cousin has expeirenced but after a replacement she has had no problems. i think alot of new phones when they drop have a bug or two that need to get worked out and if they can't it gets disco'd. so moral is wait to buy the new xbox 360 so that way if it has any bugs they get it worked out before you get it. 👿 sorry. that way you know its tried and true. 😁

If anyone's had experience with the hands free kits & earpeices for this phone, please let me know. I've been looking @ some phones & an very reticent to switch to a phone which does not use the single male-female connector. I've used the ones with the plastic feet, they tear up far too easily...

unless you ignorantly agressive with it. i.e. ripping it out before pressing the tabs you should be good to go. you don't have to handel it like a delicate child but don't nextel i730 it either.

The Z520 is a knockoff from the Z500a and its the biggest piece of junk I've ever owned. I'll sure as heck won't be buying the Z520 considering I've had nothing but problems making and receiving calls on the Z500a. Sometimes you have to dial the number 4 or 5 times to get to finally go through. I'm going back to Nokia or Motorola.
