hottest phone to get?!
ok guys, i need your help. i'm rolling my at&t plan into a cingy this month. i need a hot phone! my boyfriend just got a razr and thinks it's the hottest thing out. any suggestions? i need somethig with great reception because i'm getting rid of my crapy panasonic gu87. also, if i get a phone from overseas, what do i need to know to make sure it's compatable?! i do like the nokia n80 and n90. is this an option for cingy? will you get it and when?! 😕

motorolas' have very good reception.. nokia= not really, but for gsm it is pretty good.
i do like the n90 and 70 and razr..
if you go overseas.. you need to make sure it says quad band world capability..

900mhz and 1.8ghz

so make sure on the phone that you are purchasing will have those freqs on them. (quad band will be the best way to go)

Yea motorolas blow on GSM for reception... it might be cool on iDEN or CDMA. But your better off with a couple of tin cans and a string than a motorola on GSM.

I think the rokr is OK. but i do like the limitations on the phone no memory card swapping and bluetooth not compatible with the music player. I also really like the class 10 edge on the w600i and the nokia 6682.

I agree Marcus. Simply put, the Nokia 6682 is the best phone I've ever owned. Superb reception, very good camera, better than average mp3 player and mucho expandable memory - something the W600i doesn't offer. And yes the class 10 EDGE is awesome as well. Love it on my laptop.

I can't keep enough SE z520a's in my store. You can't beat the size with BT, speaker phone, camera, video capture and playback, and the RF is best of any Sony to date. Calculate the cost of $69 and it's a done deal.
Now for PDA's the BB 8700c is the cat's meow!! Lets hope the lawsuit involving RIM is squashed soon.

I think the 6682 will be back, just like the MPX-220, and this phone would eat the MPX220 for lunch. So if they can bring back that phone, I think surely they can bring this one back. Maybe I am being greedy here, but I have mine so it really doesn't matter if they bring it back or not.

Agree this phone is the best out there. I had the MPX220 and had to return it cos of so many problems. Give me a Nokia anyday. Just glad I got my 6682 NOW in case they don't bring it back..how much ya wanna bet they do tho? Now gotta sell this darn Motorola V551. 😉

Yes tadams is right, it does come with a blue/gray cover. It changes the look of the phone completely. FedEx just delivered my W600 and its hot. If u want a nice phone get this one. Mine's on the charger for "8 hours" because thats what it says in the box, but the style, look and shape of the phone is NICE. If your not an orange person the blue/gray cover looks really nice on it!!!
