I heard the rokr has problems ringing after the phone has been hung up and the only way to solve this is to take out the battery. Is this a common problem with the phones becaz I was going to buy one but im kinda hesitant after hearing this.
Can someone tell me bout this problem and how often they occur or if its just a few unlucky people.

It was just a problem at launch of the phone that if you purchase new now, should have no problems with. Current customers with this issue should refer to this link for a fix.

tech guy i was reading about the phone an it says the song limit is based on 4 minute songs at 128bps. Is it true any song i can put on I-tunes i can put on this phone? Last question I can put 100 songs even if there not all 4 mins long maybe longer and shorter?

Thanks for ur help again Im excited about this phone.

the song limit is based on the number of songs, not the amount of space they take up so the answer to your question is no, sorry

The total number of songs cannot exceed 100. Completely independent of the size or length of the song

I haven't had any probs with the phone like you have described, but I just got this ROKR phone (finally). I was all excited to put the 100 song on the 512 card, but the phone stops exactly at 50 and says the phone is only set up for 50. When I look at the memory left on the card, there is more than enough available.

wonder what gives?

cheers!

pol did you get my answer from the Rokr forum?

where did you get the phone from? considering you said "cheers!" i was thinking maybe Europe?
Anyway maybe this is the reason:

"For ROKR E1 units in Asia, the song limitation is 50, not 100. This is due to licensing agreements between Motorola and Apple"

This was from (page 2, 3rd paragraph):
