Can u play music on this phone without the headphones and only playing music using the stero speakers from the phone? Anything else i should know bout this phone? The song limit doesnt bother me becaz i know i can use moto's other music player and get more than 100 songs.

I heard many different reveiws from professional websites critisizing the rokr's music abilities. I know this is no where close to the ipod but i was wondering how it faired agaisnt the sony s710a or other basic music phones(music wise). Last question is the E1 is it about the same as the V- series from motorola I mean in UI,phone quality, and other aspects? I always thought the E1 was a moto v551 but with i-tunes is this correct? I heard you can hook up ur own headphones to the phone with a adapter does this come in the box or do i have to buy this seperately. Im not looking for much i just want a v551 with a decent mp3 player and call/sound quality.

Sorry for all the questions i just want to fully understand the phone before i purchase ...

the ui is simular to the v551 but itunes is on the phone in the menu. i have on on order for my girlfriend. it hasn't got here yet should be tomorrow but i am not clear on the headset adapter thing. i tested one in the store (of course there is a tower right across the street) but clarity is nice. people have been saying the song transfer rate is a little slow but its a phone. i have the se s710a i like its ALOT. i am not sure if i like it more than the moto. but if your gonna make me choose i'd say the se s710a i better. but for what your looking for the rokr e1 sounds better. i wanna see the se w600 in action because i'am not sure if i like the internal memory, and the screen is smaller and so is the quality of it.

where did you find th...

If you're wondering if the E1 is a little flip phone with blue trim, it's not. It's a white bar style phone. You can see it, and it's specs here.

It is similar to the v551. Compared to the s710... i own a 710, and would continue to use it even if I was given a rokr. It has a MUCH better camera, which I use quite a bit. It also holds songs on its memory card, which you can get up to a gig in size. They do come with a stereo headset. Any other questions feel free to ask 🙂

I haven't transferred music onto the rokr.. the s710 isn't hard at all though. As far as anything you should know.... I would suggest going to a cingular store and playing with one for a lil while, to make sure you like the menu layout, and you can mess with the features a lil to see how they are for you.

Thanks, I heard its just like a v551 which is the phone i currently have so i shouldnt have no problems. I played with one at walmart last week. (wasnt turned on though) The biggest selling point for me on this phone is it has doubble the memory of the w600a, a bigger screan, and its half the price of the w600a. Last is im familiar with motos UI's and there quite easy to get around it may just take me a hour to learn how to use the i-tunes function on the phone though.

Yes the adapter is included. As well as stereo earbuds, foamy things for the earbuds, data cable, itunes CD, and transflash card. Additional or replacement ones are for sale at COR stores for something like 2.99. There is also a myriad of ipodesque accessories available like skins, athletic armbands, upgrade earbuds etc. The prices on these items have be recently marked down.

The ROKR has stereo speakers on the left and right sides of the handset.

The UI is almost identical to the v551/razr etc. with the exception of the itunes menu. The camera quality is the same. The ROKR has a flash.

The music player on the s710 is extremly limited, you can listen to music in sequential order and thats pretty much it.
