y isn't the se 710a on the site any more? but its still in a few stores. if i did a warranty exchange on my v551 i had to replace a few times do u think i could work something and get this phone??? help me out.

well the s710 was discontinued and will shortly be replaced with the SE w600i, so if you wanted to get the s710 wait till the w600i walkman phone comes out! 🙂

😢 i think the 710 is better? it has a memory slot i know it only says it reads 128mb but im pretty sure u can make it do more!!

Good luck getting the S710 for a V551. I had to fight for a week straight to get the S710 for a Nokia 6230 (they wanted to give me an s66 or a v551).
As far as the W600 vs. the S710, I would go with the 710. It has expandable memory, however you cannot make it accept memory sticks any larger than 128mb, but it is better than not having expandable memory at all.

Did you do a warranty exchange or an insurance of the 6230? I am fixing to do a warranty, and last I heard, they were sending out the s66 if you argued, but I wouldn't mind arguing for the S710 if I know that it has been done before. Let me know please!

I did it through XBM. I just said that I didn't think it was fair that I was only given options that downgraded what I already had in the 6230. And I also said that I had a ton of Nokia accessories and I didn't feel that I should be given a phone that the accessories didn't work on. So they gave me the S710a and a $50 credit for accessories (but I had to fight that too, because they tried to reject that).
