SOLD OUT. I tried to buy one last night. Calling Nokia today, so we'll see if they have one.

So, how about this!!!!!!

I am having problems with my 6230 (VERY choppy call quality). And it is definately a phone issue, because if I put my sim in my RAZR, the call quality is perfect. So....I call customer care, who refers me to XBM. They offer me a V551 or an S66 (telling me that they are not able to get me another 6230, which is all I really want). Both have lackluster features when compared to the 6230, plus I would have to buy all new accessories (data cable and wired headset).

So, when I ask for another BT Nokia phone (instead of what they offerred me, since I already have the Nokia accessories), they tell me the only things XBM is permitted to offer is the V551 or the S66. So....they refer me to the retention departmen...

They won't give me the 6620. They have said that they won't give me anything but a V551 or S66. Marcus, or anyone for that matter, is there anything I can do? Or am I just stuck?

The Nokia 6620's and 6230's are not available. If you speak to a supervisor, you might be able to get them to allow a 6682 as a replacement - but the Siemens S66 is the phone that was chosen by the company to replace the 6230.

I have spoken with a supervisor, and the second time I called, the rep put me on hold and says he spoke with his supervisor. Both times, I was told that I could have nothing other than V551 or S66. I guess I'm just another screwed Cingular customer. But, the upsetting thing is that I really love my Cingular service. I never believed how bad their customer service could be, even with all of the complaints on here.
