mahylo

I am out of contract, but still on my old AT$T GSM contract that I get a discount on through work, and I love the plan..

My two phones really suck, and if I re-up my contract (i.e. do not change the plan, but sign on for another two years) can I get new phones at a discounted price from cingular?

Thanks..

Heres the deal with that, although you may still renew the contact and keep the plan you have under the former at&t side of the company cingular really isnt supporting phones that will work under it for regular customers. now if you are a cda customer (discount through your work) you do have a decent chance of getting equipment and the odds are even better if you are on a shared plan. you may call nbs (nation business services) at 800-999-5445 and see whats available. last week i had a customer in your situation and i told him to call the nbs and they were able to get him another phone. im not sure of the availabitity of handsets from them but that is our best shot. hope this helps.

Actually I do that all day long. I work in BEUC, business end user care, we can order you phones if your on a sponsorship acct. Meaning you get a disc on your service each month. We currently have a limited # of phones avail but we have phones for you. You can mig to cing and still receive the same discs on your service and phones. You will have to change your rate plan and purchase a cing device but you will get the discount on the phones. Like on cingular you can get a sony ericson z500a for 35.99 if you mig. Give us a call at 1-866-293-4634.
