why is Cingular releasing PTT????

Shouldn't Cingular really wait until they get their network situation under control...with so many cingy customers haveing so so many problems with just voice, much less customer service, why add more problems? I think they should get to the point where they don't have a million drop calls and have ability to make clear voice calls before implementing PTT. If a quality company like Verizon had problems first go around, what on earth is cingy thinking?

Because VZW didn't do their homework before releasing it. Cingular has done their homework and they are using a tried and true solution. It will go MUCH better for Cingular than it did for Verizon.

Cingular is in denial about their voice network- we need more towers to improve coverage before all this other stuff comes out.

That's because you'll never expect anything but the worst from Cingular, regardless of service. You're biased, but a lot of other people are biased toward it. You balance that out, but because of your bias most of us wont take your opinions seriously.

Now how many times did I say bias? Three? Four? I've said it too much, somebody get me a thesaurus.

1. I think you're nuts.
2. If you just do one thing at a time you'll fall behind.
3. I still hate PTT

Some people want it, so they're gonna try and sell it. All I can do about it is talk louder than the people who use their PTT in public places.
