Lost my phone. What do I do now?

Hey everyone,

I lost my beloved Nokia 6230 at IKEA of all places, and it has yet to be found. Right now, I got a new sim card and I'm using it with an old jenky phone. The sad thing is that the Cingular rep said that I can't get a new phone with a plan until October 15, one month before my contract expires. I was wondering if any of ya'll can give me some insight.

The choice now is either to get an unlocked GSM phone now instead of waiting over a month to get one from Cingular. It will obviosly cost more like $300+ but it will be unique and better than any of the $200+ phones Cingular offers. OR, I can just wait a month and see what phones Cingular has available.

I wanna know if there are any phones at Cingular I should wait for...I...

first off, dont ge the z500. Secondly, the rokr is out at meets all of those features listed. Or the s710 sony erikson would work, as well as the new nokia smartphone ( i can never keep track of the numerals) If you really wanna dig deep, the ipaq is coming soon
