Sony Ericsson W800i

Sony Ericsson W800i already comes out in US market, sold at $499 on Sony Ericsson website.

If the phone is unlocked, it can be used by both Cingular & T-Mobile.

But do anyone know will Cinguar carry officially so the price can be lowered with contracts?

BTW, it's regret K750i does not come out in US, I've bought one in Hong Kong, it's really awesome.

They will not carry it. They have an agreement with Nokia, to only carry their candy bar phones.

Does the agreement apply to the 6102, then? Word has it that Cingy's getting those (clamshells) in Sept. 12-ish.

The agreement doesn't pertain to flips. It doesn't mean that Nokia can ONLY make candy bar phones and no flips. It just means that they will only carry candy bar phones made by Nokia.

What Rathrok said was true Cingualr will not be carrying the W800, They will however start carrying the W600. I know its not the same, but a leaste they're trying.

the w600 is junk compared to the w800i. while the swivel/slider, w/e it is may be cool, it does not have an expansion slot like the w800i does. there for you are stuck w/ onboard, and its not much @ all, but i can't remember how much.

this is going off the top of my head, so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.
