Roaming on AT&T towers??

any word, if Cingular will allow us to roam on AT&T before the merger? (like AT&T lets you roam on cingular)

any date yet for the merger? (and in what step of the merger, will they start sharing towers?)

any new roaming agreements (with any company) on the east coast?

there is no word on whether we will be able to roam on AT&T before the BUYOUT!!!!


everything is going good as far as i have seen the FCC and everything has approved it... and should be done by the end of this year!!!

AT&T is using Cingulars towers, however they are paying for it, they aren't just getting it free, however i feel cingular isn't charging them much, becaues they have to make it legal so they have to charge them something, but not designated amount

don't know about the east coast!!

On another note.

we got word that Cingular should have 100% of it's coverage up to GSM by the end of July and that markets have already started going to EDGE and that the following markets should have it within the year or early 2006....

In areas that AWS cover that Cingular has no service coverage (Charleston, WV), there are already roaming ageements. Dobson Cellular (Cellular One) is one of the new regional GSM carriers, after TDMA conversion, that we have made agreements with in the south east.
