Good basic phone

I'm contemplating switching over from Nextel and the selection of phones from Cingular is a bit confusing. I don't really need bells and whistles, I just need to talk on the phone and get the best signal possible. I'd also like the phone to be as compact as possible (for sticking in a pocket) without being so small as to be unusable.

I prefer motorola, but I've heard mixed reviews of their entry-level V180 phone, so I would stray away from that.

For something simple, the Samsung SGH-C207 fits the bill perfectly. Its small, lightweight, and gets a 4.4 out of 10 reviews on hofo. Not too many bells and whistles, color screen is about it.

For something with more, I'd reccomend the Nokia 6230, you add Bluetooth, VGA camera, MMC expansion slot, EDGE data.

Compare the two here: https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/compare.php ?id%5B%5D=574&id%5B%5D=408&id%5B%5D=&id%5B%5D =&id%5B%5D=

Maybe I did not read correctly. Basic to me does not mean flip/camera/edge, etc.

I like the Nokia 6010.

If I am going hunting, I take the Nokia 6190.
