Oh god I hate that. Although I dont really mind GoPhone but it figures that once I go full time we go prepaid. Yeah i know but at least no reps are getting fired. I dont need that kind of stress. Although the no closing thing is cool.

i didnt do that stupid survery once and told me TL that would be walking me out of the building before she heard me says that BS on any call. It's very clear that it was the director's idea since he was fired today and we all of a sudden dont do it anymore.

Are you talking about that dumb arse little survey the blue side reps are having to do after each call? Before I migrated my own phone over I had to talk to a blue rep who put me through that stupid survey. I'm thinking .. how ridiculous is it that a company would ask a customer to rate a rep while the rep is on the phone with the customer. At least have the rep do like my bank used to do which was for the bank rep to ask the customer if they would take a short automated survey after the call was complete. Maybe this was an AT&T side blue exec decision??

im pretty sure it was a halifax convergys decision only. We dont do it anymore. I thought it was stupid too and told my MO (fired today) and my TL that i will never ask a customer this. They cant even use the data they were collecting. It's useless statistics that tell management nothing. Im glad Jerry got fired, but at the same time, the new director, whoever he is, could be much worse.

and hey....if you get go phones.....be prepared to enter a world of s%*$. lol. 90% of these customers are the most ignorant in the united states....they just happen to own a phone whether they use it alot. be ready to hear: (i dont know my own number...why dont you know my number? Oh wait if my flier says i have to make the payment in your department to get a promo credit and i pay in cash at the store why cant i just get the bonus with you?) well sir. u just answered yourself.

I've worked for an outsource vendor before (stream international) and no matter what contract you were on they had you do the stupid survey thingy also. In my opinion, everything to do with go phone should be outsourced! I hate when they call in and dont read their little letter or listen to the ivr and clearly states you need a credit card to make a purchase.

They have not fired anybody yet this morning. It's been quiet so far. Much different then yesterday. Same as a normal day minus 20 or so people.

Just got an email. No more firing. Just restructuring of the centre. FUN FUN.

No more firing? That is no fun! In our center they restructured us a couple of months back. Made it to where we have assigned seating in this small a$$ cubes.
