True or False??
sombody in CS just told me
1) that they were adding 2 towers within 5 miles of my address (07960)
2) they are adding some kind of enhancers to the towers
3) they are starting some pre merging agreements with AT&T
4) they are changing towers in my area from 1900 to 850
is any of the above true?? does anybody have any details on it??

Check with your local dealer. They are your best source for local info. Even then, they will generally only know what has already happened.

1.) I don't know how recently you got this information, but I don't show any development in your area other than the existing towers.
2.) Not that I know of!

4.) Philadelphia is to be primarily affected by the elimation of the 1900 band. We have always provided 850 & 1900 in the NE market, but we have eliminated the 1900 band in primarily the PA market.

honestly i don't know... there are a couple of theories floating around but nothing concrete.

it because 850 has a higher range, and is able to penatrate buildings more effectivly.
