Ipods.....for free? and %5 transfer rate

Anyone else tried this? I signed up for the Rhapsody trial, only .99 cents. I checked up on them on google found these articles on what seems to be respectable sites and a personal blog:

No bad articles on them whatsoever. It seems you have to get 5 other people to sign up though. Doesn't seem hard or that bad of a deal either. A 20 gig Ipod is worth at least $100 probably more. If anyone tries it let me know if you get your ipod. I'll let you know when I get mine, I'll take a pictur...

you just now heard about that? i got one from them a few months ago. They didn't have the 20GB version then, I got green 6BG. I see the 99 cent rhapsody deal now I didn't get that either âšī¸ I had to pay 9.95 s/h for some magazines that I really didn't want but not bad because I got an ipod worth about $200 đ one of my buddies that I signed up got one too. I kinda forgot about it but yeah that site is totally legit. I don't know about the other free ipod sites tho. I wonder if I can sign up again and get another one đ

Perhaps I shall just sign up for the 5 referalls but use different names but my same credit card. I'll use the rhapsody trial for each one so I'm only out a total of $6. I can get my IPOD in no time đ

I don't think they will let you do that but if you can get away with it then by all means do it!! I can't get another one, only one per account âšī¸ Maybe if I had a different shipping address and made a new account. But they won't ship the ipods to P.O. boxes.

I dont think it does expire. I joined back in december 2004. I got my ipod late january. They get paid by their advertisers thats how they can send out the free equipment. They probably get about $50 per referrall whether the person stays on after the trial offer or not.

So when you sign up to get the free Ipod is it like signing up for different services like magazines or different Credit cards...

yeah you have to sign up for a free trial but some you can cancel right after you sign up. Like the rhapsody deal. 99 cents for 1 month. You can cancel before the month is up. So your out 99 cents but if you get 5 other people to do the same you get a free ipod. when i signed up I wasn't lucky enough to get that deal. I paid 9.95 for my trial. but whats 9.95 compared to an ipod worth a couple hundred? I could sell the ipod I got from them on ebay and make my money back plus much more. But i'd rather keep it đ
