Yes you read that right I am actually giving a kudos to dealers, let me explain.

Over the last couple years working here I have done my fair share of dealer bashing, to reps, dealers them selfs when they called in and on forums. So don't take me a a two faced person I hate dealers and everything they stand for but you have to have respect for them to be able to put up with the real ignorant customers that if I meet face to face I would punch in the face.

I have to express my sympathy to these dealers that get these completely ignorant customers that know nothing about wireless service and or think they know everything about it. As well the customers that think that since they where to thick to figure out that going to India would be ...

You're bang on.

As a customer care rep, how would you like to deal with some guy, face red, head veins popping, spittle flying, right in your face, demanding you to fix his bill because he didn't know he'd be charged roaming in India, and then you have to back away and say "Sorry, your 1000$ bill is legit." Do you want to be in that situation? I sure as hell don't. And for this I second the Kudos to the dealers.

I have a friend who sells phones for Rogers Wireless, and he's amazing at what he does, but he's had phones thrown at him and has been threatened numerous times (no one ever followed through). At least, over the phone, we have mute, hold and release, we can take our headset off, and they don't know where we are (and in my case,...

And I as an agent of Cingular Wireless thank you for that! Now you know why I don't want to work here anymore. It'd be different maybe if some idiots just read their bill instead of seeing the price and immediately calling the store to "have it fixed".

How the hell can I "fix" it? There's nothing wrong with the bill, you just let your son run up $150 on the Media Net!!! I warned you when you bought it and told me that you would be using the net a lot. But when I DO actually manage to get $50 or so credited back even though the charges are real they still continue to freak out and the line that invariably comes out of every single one is:

"Well then I wanna cancel my service and I'm not payin' nothin' to get outta this here contr...

Yeah people asking that they don't care about there credit and that they will not pay a legit bill is funny, it does not affect me so I can care less if you pay that bill or not they are legit charges for services provided, therefor you have to pay that bill or your screwed.

Why do you even get them a credit? If you give people things they don't deserve they'll expect them all the time. People have to learn responsibility at some point.
