Question on the Nokia 6200
is there anyway to change the settings on the 6200 to get more service, or change networks,
b/c my phone only picks up Cingular, which has no service (even though AT&T has GSM towers all over the area)
(on the at&t version of this phone, there is the option of changing networks, but the cingular version does not have it)
so does anybody know any codes that could add to my reception, (like changing networks...)

Okay, can't speak for this particular model, since we don't support it, but for other Nokias you can do a manual network select--go into your menu, select "network services," then "system selection," then change it from automatic to manual and select. It should look for all available networks and give you a list. Highlight and select your choice, and the handset is locked onto that network. Hope this helps--if nothing else, you can see what networks are out there even if you can't use them! 🙂
