in the fine print is says;

"Minutes will not rollover untill after the first month's billing"

does that mean my first month's minutes do not rollover???

I am signing up, and I am not sure how many minutes I need, so I am starting with a higher plan too be safe, (and will go lower if necesary) and I thought that at least I would be able to keep those extra minutes from the first month...

please correct me if I am wrong!!!
(and explain me, what does words in the fine print mean)

what ever you do. don't get on the higher rait plan. They will charge to you move down. You are better of getting on a lower one and move up. Even if it takes you a couple of months to figure out what plan you need.

You must be thinking of some other carrier.

We do not charge to change rate plans. Up, down, sideways, it doesn't matter.

Rarely, we ask you to get a new plan when you get a new phone, becuase the new phone would not work with the old plan.

Sometimes, depending on time-in-contract and special features, we ask you to commit to a 1-year contract when changing a plan.

Current policy is:

If you are in the 1st half of your 1-yr or 2-yr contract, change plans whenever you like.

Otherwise, you will need to sign a 1-yr (from the date of plan change request) ONLY IF your new plan has promotional elements.

For instance, our current Nation plans come with big lumps of mobile-to-mobile. That is promotional. You could get the plan, and sign for a year. Or you could get the plan without the promotional element (without mobile-to-mobile, here). and not sign.

1st half of plan, without promotional - no sign
2nd half of plan, without promotional - no sign
Out of plan, without promotio...

In response to your actual question, The prorated month's minutes are not rolled over. Roll over starts on your first full month of service.
