Has AT&T given up on BlackBerry?
It sure seems like it. My Bold 9000 is on life support at this moment, and I doubt it will make it to iPhone 5 day. Will AT&T get the 9780 or Torch 2 anytime soon?

Blackberry's given up on blackberry.
Dont get me wrong, what blackberry's do, they do VERY well. But they can't compete with the feature set of android/iOS/winmo, so carriers arn't willing to give them the money for exclusives like they once were.
The biggest problem blackberry has is that their playbook UI looks AMAZING, and they said they're bringing it to phones, but all they do is keep updating 6.0
