Cingular is not doing good on Revenue, and you can see it on their new plans, they only offer the $19.99 plans on 3 or 4 markets, the $29.99 plans offer less Night and Weekend mins (from 3,500 to only 1,000) and worst of all they are trying to get people off their Family Talk plans by getting rid of the cheapest Family Talk plan ($29.99)and rising to have an additional line from $9.99 to $19.99, Wow! it seems like Cingular is making their customers pay for the buy out, oops sorry! or should I say merger with AT&T, which I think is the result of 1 + 1 = BigPieceOfCrap
Where "1" is AT&T or Cingular, it does'nt really matter, if you have had experienced the GSM technology and travel to rural areas you'll know what I mean.

I work for cingular and it is funny how many customers expectations are off. GSM has just been introduced in the united states a couple of years. CDMA has been around forever. the new family talk lines might seem like more but when you really look at at including mobile to mobile. On the 9 99 family talk plans they wanted you to pick either m2m or night and weekends. If you wanted both you had to pay for one of them m2m on a per line basis. Cingular is not doing bad on revenue cingular accounted for 45 percent of SBC net profits and 35 percent of Bellsouth's. That is the reason why cingular is buying at&t because the profits are so large for cingular for both the parent companies. Get your facts straight and come correct if you criticize ci...

1) It's been 5000 n/w, not 3500, for a while. (Before that, it was 3000.) How many night/weekend minutes do YOU use?

2) Family Talk has not been available on the $29.99 plan for quite a while. Like, for at least the two years I've been working here. Before the recently-ended $9.99 binge, it w...

Hey Anxiovert, do you own a wireless company? WOW! Didn't think so! Then quit bitching about crap you when you have no idea how it works!

😢 u have to have to be the most ignorant person ever. if u had a clue as to how the wireless industry worked those are different plans and different promotions for n&w. as far as FT the reason u pay more for the second line is because u get mobile 2 mobile included for FREE!!!!
