A Phone Suggestion
I am in the market for a new phone, but only have $200. I have narrowed my choice to a SE Z500a. My question is, are there any comparable phones, or possible more equipped, for under $200? 😕 I currently do not qualify for any promos from Cingular.

the LG1400 and Samsunge317 are pretty much the other choices you could campare with. Both have camera and external displays; however, one advantage the z500 has is a speakerphone. If you wanted to spend a little bit more and go with a bluetooth device i would get the Motorolla v551. but it is $199.99 after a $50 mail in rebate.

For that price it is about the best. A bit more gets you the V551 with Bluetooth but that depends on you.

BSOD=blue screen of death, apparently some of the z500a's would have this flaw (similar to what windows 98 experienced when you would nuke the hell out of it, or windows would nuke itself 😛 ) and it then drains battery like crazy, etc etc etc.......i personally dislike the z500a due to its small screen, as a flip phone its rather large at least take up that space w/ a larger screen.....oh well i am happy w/ my v802se 🙂

i have a Z500a and i think it's really good. i like it a lot better than my old LG. it's more durable and i like the video fuction on it. i haven't had any problems yet (crosses fingers)
make sure if you buy the phone on EBAY that you get an unlocked one of course!

Go to ebay and get the Siemens s66. Its is an excellent phone...

I get phones off of ebay all the time brand new really cheap. I got the s710a when it first came out for $350. Just read the entire auction carefully... 😳
