AT&T is the lowest-scoring cell-phone carrier in the U.S., according to a satisfaction survey of 58,000 ConsumerReports.org readers. Of all the carriers rated, AT&T was the only one to drop significantly in overall satisfaction.

Over half of the survey respondents who used AT&T as a carrier owned some version of the iPhone, the Apple smart phone that is exclusive to AT&T, at least for now. Consumer Reports data, reflecting all versions of the phone, found that iPhone owners were much less satisfied with their carrier and rated data service (Web and e-mail) lower than owners...

Yes. U.S. Cellular rudely SPANKED all the other carriers. I find it funny that with all of those respondents AT&T's churn is LOW. What does that say to me? People *Bleep* and moan but they aren't voting with their feet. It's like all the people who complain about the BCS. As long as you continue to watch the games...NOTHING is going to change.

When i read the original article, it said like 70% of the people that were surveyed on AT&T side where iphone users. I just think they are mostly sheep and are afraid to try something new.

Before anyone starts a riot, not all iphone users are sheep, some are informed and know that the phone has its flaws and drawbacks.

Thats interesting. Even though the iPhone is popular they still make up the minority of the at&t user base. I still say that this survey has flaws.

All surveys have flaws, but it makes sense what Azeron said, even though they complain they dont leave. Like the whole Iphone "grip" issues, that had almost no returns of the Device. So i think his statement is accurate, but the survey is not a 100%. They only survey like 100,000-300,000 people on surveys like this not the actual 30-90 million people on these carriers.

I know its crazy! I guess the true measuring tool will be at&t's churn rates the two years after they lose exclusivity. Either way it will be a good time to invest in apple. Maybe apple customer think they need better service and experiences than your average customer?? Who knows.

My cousin and his wife have iphones. I am quite envious. They can do things on their iphones that I cannot on my Incredible. I want one very badly... I cannot wait until 2012 or 2013 or whatever.

This is the obligatory moment when an AT&T person should ask why you haven't changed carriers. Said question would then spark a back and forth debate as to the virtues of each carrier, followed by random "I love iPhone" comments, a few emoticons, and the eventual slow death of an overwhelmingly impossible thread.

It IS a good device, though.

I would not get involved in an AT&T versus VZW debate. I don't love Verizon...just the iphone. Everyone knows I was close to making the switch to AT&T but they stopped offering Unlimited data on smartphones. So I am stuck with VZW and my wonderful grandfathered rate plan.

Most people are sheep who would rather be sheep than think for themselves and take the necessary action to be happy customers. They need something to complain about. The Gods forbid they learn how to use their phones properly or do research before jumping on to a carrier who has more data traffic than it can handle.

And once they're on said carrier, they're too damn lazy (or stupid) to move to another carrier.

They just "want it to work NOW" because they're "the MOST IMPORTANT customer"! 🤣
