iPhone 4 with 4.0.1

I got my iphone a few weeks back and then updated the software to 4.0.1. I know they talked about the signal strength would go down but it shouldn't affect calls being dropped. I seam to be dropping more calls since the update and finding I have no signal at all at times. I live in South Florida and AT&T service is very good. Anybody else noticing the same issues? Otherwise the phone is great.

OK....

I have had several people who have gone from iphone 3gs to iphone 4 complaining of signal degredation and dropped calls even with a case and iOS 4.0.1. So signal went from mediocre at best with the 3gs to worse with the iPhone 4. Once again, apple makes a great entertainment device with a crappy phone built in.

I didn't notice any difference in dropped calls between 4.0 and 4.01 on my iPhone 4.

On a side note, I was up in Maine (along the coast) last week where getting and keeping a signal is tough. Fairly often I was able to make (and hold) and call while my dad's 3GS didn't even have a signal.
