OK. Here goes. To the ones who tried to help me, I thank you very much. To the others, you will reach my age some day, then you will know how it feels. Just because I am old doesn't mean I have to stop living. I have the same desires that I always did. I like cell phones just like everyone else. I have a right to have one, like everyone else. Yes, I do fall down sometimes, and my wife has to help me up. That comes with age, as some of you will learn someday. I like to have fun, like everyone else. I make jokes, like everyone else. I laugh, like everyone else. I laugh at my own self, as some of you will some day.I know some of you were just making a joke, but some were not,and for those, well, wait and see for yourself. Anyway, God bless you al...

Paul, just to let you know I'm taking time away from my lunch right now to respond to your post. I'm really not the type of person I've came across as being. I work at a call center and I use this website to pass time. I was completely joking about everything I've posted on here about you, sometimes the way I get a laugh isn't funny at all to others and I'm truly sorry if I've offended you in any way. Your post moved me a little, you seem like a great man and I feel bad that I've upset you. You're absolutely right, you have every right to keep living your life and I hope you continue living life to the fullest sir. I hope you can forgive my stupidity Paul.

I like the phone I have very much, just wish we had a better choice. lol. Thanks again. Paul

I never thought you were feeling sorry for yourself, it sounds like you're doing pretty dang good at your age. And you're right about the benefits of being older, working is such a drag, you get to really enjoy the things in life that make you happy. And if you feel a little lazy sometimes then you can sleep all you want and not feel bad about yourself. I think I'm going to retract my statement about the CDMA phones though Paul. I noticed VZW is offering a basic phone like you were looking for, but if you notice on the main page of Phone Scoop the headline says SAMSUNG'S HAVEN AIMED AT SILVER-HAIRED SET. That's an odd way to market a phone, maybe even a little offensive. Perhaps you should just stick to your current carrier if you're happy. ...
