Text Messaging Down?????
I just tried to send a text message from my RAZR and it would not go through. It gave me a "Status 42" error.
But when I moved my sim to my 6230 it went through just fine.
Is there a problem with text messaging on the network? Does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? It seems to only be an issue when I try to send a text to someone who is not a Cingular customer.

Is it the same person (your fiancee) cause maybe it's not us if mobile to mobile texts are going through and it is just one other carrier that it is occuring with 😁 😁

Yeah, it is her. But the wierd thing is that it works if I send her one from a VZW phone.
Maybe I just need to convert her already.

It could be that VzW is having an issue receiving from other carriers 🙄 And that is why... And that answer is yes, just brong her over! 😁

You kinda answered your own question didn't ya, if it worked in one phone but not the other, then it would point to a phone issue?

I just now got an email that these is a text messaging issue going on at the moment, but it's not in my market. The outage in another market may slow down text delivery for those in my area, however.
