The Android based Sony Ericsson X10 looks like it will be arriving in AT&T stores within the next 2-3 months. I have been waiting on this phone for quite a while.

From what I read 2.1 might not come out of the box with the phone but it will be elig to be upgraded soon there after.

On the spec sheeet on phonearena it has 1.6 listed as the operating sysytem and I can't remember where I read about it being able to upgrade to 2.1 not long after it's U.S. release.

Google needs to get their act together and make it so that people can save apps to memory cards, rather than the measly on board memory that most smartphones have.

I think it has iGB of on board memory. As long as you can use all of that for apps you'll be fine. I hate how my blackberry has a set limit of application memory.

I know. I just read up on the specs over @ GSMArena. 8mp camera, a whopping 4in screen that's scratch resistant, 1ghz snapdragon processor, 3.5mm jack, now all we need is Android

Both cool Nokia's and cool SE phones are very, very rare in the

I don't know. I guess I'll have to play with it once it comes out to be sure that I'll be able to do without the keypad. I don't text nor email much. What I do more is web browsing, so it cant be that bad of a transition for me. I would love to browse on that screen! 😎

Speaking of that screen, I watched a vid about the X10 on YouTube, appearently it's an AMOLED screen. I didn't know SE hopped on the AMOLED bandwagon.
