AT&T claims decrease in dropped calls
What do you all think? Is this a real world improvement?

I don't get how so many people complain about dropped calls. I never have a dropped call on my BB 9700. I live in the Denver area. Even when I lived in Idaho, I never had dropped calls and yes, I am on the phone a lot.

I can tell you why. The i phone has a terrible radio especially compare to a blackberry. Being that the i phone is so poplular, alot of people are dropping call and blaming it on att. I know this first hand because I carried a curve for about 8 months and never dropped a call. As soon as I started to use an i phone, I dropped at least one call a day. ATT is taking the rap for Apples failure.

By no means I was trying to contradict what you said. Just pointing out that the two use different frequencies. I've never used an iPhone myself, but I do drop calls on my Bold (at least one a week) ☹️ No big deal.... I'm 30, but I still remember the days when you actually had to chase signals... I remember when you had to scream, press the phone really hard to your ear, and still couldn't make out what the other person was saying. 🤣
