Hopefully. Then maybe Motorola will stop living in 1999 and move on to the new century.

Motorola made a lot of money off the RAZR, but it's held them back from keeping pace with other companies.

They used to be the standard in quality phones, now a majority of them qualify for KIRF status.

KIRF

Keeping it Real Fake

As in, a cheap knockoff of another quality brand, or something made to look expensive when it's really not.

Well, the Razr 2 has been out for quite some time, but I don't really see all that many people with it. What about you guys, your the ones who sell the phones. Does anybody ever buy the Razr 2? Seems like an oh right phone to me, just not quite up to my standards that's all.

razr2 was a good phone. The problem with motorola is their phones are way overpriced for the features that they offer and they are still using the same old plain jane OS that they have always used.

I would actually like to be able to sell the razr or razr2 still. Old people seem to love those phones.

If they made a new one with. Better OS, 3mp or better with flash, wifi, good music player,3.5 jack, video record, just a to name a few. Do you think people would buy It. I think that if they beefed up the phone, and put lot's of features on it people would buy it. Just a thought.

They did come out with a new one, the Motorola V9/V9X. It was also in a slider version, the Z9. Here is the phonescoop post on the V9

Both the V9 and the V9x sold pretty well in my store. The main difference between the 2 was the the V9X had the ATT navigator built into it. It was a good looking phone, the color was called mahogany and it was one of these colors that either you loved or hated. The front screen was much larger than the original RAZR and had touch screen controls for the MP3 player in it. Neither phone lasted in the line very long. They just faded out, but I still get some calls for RAZRs from time to time.

i've always hated the RAZR line but like mentioned before by someone else, old people love them so i wouldnt mind selling them still. Its an easy phone to operate with no crazy features. Now all i have to sell old people is the breeze, a237, and 2600 if i get desperate.
