When will AT&T launch MMS and Tethering for iPhone 3GS?
So...when will A Stink and Stink launch the dam services so people will quit hounding me on facebook about it?!

I run an AT&T group on facebook and they all wanna know, so I am asking here since AT&T's website says nothing about it other than "it's coming later this summer!!!" Well it is now August and no word from America's most unreliable corporation about their stinkin' services for the whiny iPhone users who now regret getting one.

FYI, I also run a T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon group and I never get complaints from those groups about their service. But with AT&T... I get rants posted on my wall all the time...oy!

What I don't get is that these people than rant and rave stay with att. If it is so bad, there is no gun to their head making them sign that next contract.
/shrug
Personally, I hope that att never turns the iphone tethering on so that I don't have to deal with it at my store.
And for those of you who are fire-walled...
Why AT&T won't support MMS until late summer, plus tethering plan rumours
The Boy Genius Report digs up the reason why the iPhone 3G and 3GS won't get MMS support in the States for several months.
Sources close to TBGR indicate that enabling MMS support for iPhone 3Gs at the June 17 launch of the iPhone OS 3.0 or for the iPhone 3GS at its launch June 19 would require AT&T to "manually remove all the “Opt Out MMS codes†on each account." In other words, it sounds like more of an administrative issue than a technical one that will prevent iPhone 3G users from...

As far as the tethering goes, that $60 air card isn't something only Verizon does, at&t offers air cards for the same price. I don't see any reason at&t would charge $70 for the iphone to do what they only charge $60 (including the a data package for the phone itself) to do with EVERY other smart phone. If I'm wrong, when the time comes, I will admit it, but until then, that whole article doesn't seem logical at all.

I use AT&T's 2G and still get dropped calls and dead zones and that should not be the case. I am in a good coverage area according to the maps, yet the coverage is spotty.
Hell, I swear, the old AT&T Wireless was better than the new AT&T and we all know how badly they sucked.

I never got the iPhone and never will, so personally, I don't care about what happens. But a lot of people have the iPhone and do care.

Yet you still call yourself "ATnT Nokia" considering how much you say their service sucks 🙄 🙄 Amazing ...Remember there are no forced cell contracts, your free to leave for Verizon at anytime if they work that much better in your area... 🙄 🙄

that's because I was a fan of AT&T and Nokia until lately with AT&T continuing to piss me, a loyal customer, off with their crappy network.
Leave them for Verizon? NEVER. I'd leave them for T-Mobile because T-Mobile is best in my area.

I had good service with AT&T up until this year. Now, I drop calls every week.
