So, I love my bold. It is hands down one of the best devices I have ever carried and I have had plenty of locked and unlocked phones.

Well now...

NOTHING...

Won't turn on, no blinking light & I DON'T want a Re-furb through AT&T...

I have contacted Blackberry and they have opened a case on the issue.

Any Ideas out there?
Thanks All

That happened to me with my pearl. I plugged the charger into the phone and waited and then turned it on and it worked. I dunno if it will help, but it's worth a shot. I love the Bold, wish I could afford the hefty price tag.

Still Nothing...It's not looking good.

BTW...just flip a few phones online and you'll gain the revenue to afford a bold. You gotta get creative.

Thanks for your response!

No Luck..

I've tried that a few times as well.

Imagine

-You sell your dream phone because your company does't allow you to carry unlocked phones.

-You buy your Bold for almost the outright price....(400)

-You like your new Bold but are worried becasue of the issues you had with the Curve

& THEN..

- POOOF, out goes the lights. No damage, no water damage, nothing. WILL NOT TURN ON.

& Then AT&T offers you a REFURB!!!

Unbelievable....

Rim has opened a case on it and they "may" send me a new one.

Talk about B.S.

At least if I bought an unlocked phone, the Nokia or Sony would back the product for a year and not send me a RE-FURB, they sent me new ones in the past.

There IS a benifit to buying unlocked p...
