Seeing a lot Creative Names

dogear

Mar 2, 2005, 5:44 PM
I see a lot of interesting and creative names. Care to share the reasoning behind the names? I'll start. I'm legally deaf and have a certified "hearing dog" that serves as my ears. So my ears are really a dog's ear.

Correction

Mar 2, 2005, 5:48 PM
When I started reading the forums I had no intention of posting.

I created this name because I saw so much misinformation from Blueguy that it was just pissing me off.

So Correction was born.

Of course after that Blueguy actually posted quite of bit correct info in just a rude and unjust manner. So.... ya 🙂
Thats my story 😁

KnifeySpooney

Mar 2, 2005, 6:02 PM
Mine is a reference to the episode of The Simpsons in which they went to Australia. The particular scene was making fun of Crocodile Dundee:

"You call that a knife? THIS is a knife!"
-"No, that's a spoon."
"Well, I see you've played 'Knifey-Spooney' before."

Darth_Ix

Mar 2, 2005, 6:18 PM
My name spawns from two sources. The first is kind of obvious, Darth, the title of dark lords in the starwars universe. The second is from The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Ix, in the language of Betelgeuse V stands for "boy who is not able satisfactorily to explain what a Hrung is, nor why it should choose to collapse on betelgeuse VII."
