HTC Fuze

I just have a question for someone who might know, how is the call quality on the fuze and are the ring tones loud? I currently have the v9x and I hate texting on it because it does not have a keyboard and I was thinking about exchanging it for the Fuze. I text a lot so I think that the full keyboard would be a plus, but was just looking for some more feedback on the phone before I decide to exchange it.

Thanks.

I have the fuze and the call quality is excellent. Loud ringtones. Phenominal Qwerty keyboard. Another plus is you can add Blackberry Connect instead of the PDA package for quicker email.

James ryan johns,

You mention that you use blackberry connect on the fuze, Is there a link I can use to download it onto my fuze?

Thanks in advance!

The ones I have seen have a link pre-loaded on the phone... the person at AT&T will happily show you where it is when you go in an sign up for BB connect.

i have the fuze. its keyboard is awesome. the device itself has got to be the best i've owned so far. fyi, my last four pda's were htc's. the fuze has the fun of the iphone with the professionalism of a pocket pc. it has a
G SENSOR so it can tell which way the phone is tilted. the included game teeter uses this tecnology. the internet will landscape whenever the phone is held horizontaland adjust if held vertical.

overall its an awesome phone. battery life is good for a pda too. finding apps/games isnt hard but finding ones that work with the g sensor isnt the easiest.....i vote u exchange for the fuze.

The fuze is cool except that the OS is really really slow to react. I'd get the bold over the fuze.

im not discounting anything from the bold as i like that device too. but my fuze rarely hiccups or lags. i think adding a large enough memory card for all of the added apps and etc helps with that.

Is there a way to realign the touchscreen?

Read your manual that came with the phone, or try looking through the phone menus... there is a "screen allignment" option that isn't hard to find if you use your brain.

I will give you a clue, hit start, then select settings!

You asked a question, got an answer, then purported to not care, got questioned as to why you ever asked the question in the first place, and now are back to wondering... 🙄

So which is it? You, at one point, cared enough to ask the question, then claim you don't care, and now are saying you wanted to ask the question... maybe this series of events is a good showing of how you didn't know he answer to something that is pretty basic with any touch scree...

Hey it just boils down to me being too lazy to walk accross my store in figure it out myself since we rarely sell that device. Jeez Sorry! 😢

And I feel it is a good question. Not every touchscreen phone requires alignment.

Why are you so bitter anyways. Be happy man!

Not every sales person does their job right. Learn the $500 phone you are selling, maybe you will sell more and have better return rates on it? Maybe you will have more satisfied customers? Maybe, just maybe, you won't get smart a$$ answers to stupid questions about a simple setting that is 4 clicks away from the home screen.

Oh ok. Wow I never really thought about that. Let me write that down.....lets see...got it. Not doing job right....hmmm satisfied customers. sounds important...jeez I must have really been screwing around the last 6 years here since I obviously know nothing and can't do my job right.

6 years? In 6 years of cell service, you don't know that a $500 smartphone can have it's screen alignment adjusted! That is funny! Yet so sad at the same time. FYI, knowing how to work the phones you sell is part of doing your job right.

wow how did a harmless question lead to so many rude assumptions about my product and industry knowledge? While I agree with you that people should know the product they are selling you sure are a dick about it.

We can all tell they work for AT&T or have something to with AT&T.

That's why AT&T will NEVER have good customer service.

The Fuze has excellent call quality, both clarity and volume, as well good reception. The phone is a beast! The keyboard is great, the touch screen is amazing for a resistive, and the screen is one of the nicest I have seen!

I love mine, I have a cooked ROM on it from xda-developers.com It really helped make it snappier and a more enjoyable device, which it was already great fun out of the box. Word of caution, if you want to do a cooked ROM, read everything you can on xda-developers.com before even attempting, wouldn't want you to brick a nice new Fuze.

The Fuze is great. Good call quality and you can make things just about as loud as you want. One caveat, it is a phone for phone gearheads. If you want a phone that "just works," this is not the phone for you. If you love tweaking your phone to suit your tastes, needs, or just to have fun tweaking, this is a great phone.
