Someone told me that to call an 800 number from your cell phone costs a dollar. I told them I didn't think so, but would like to be sure. I feel a lettle stupid for asking but thats how I learn things. Thanks

411 is now $1.79 per call, but I always use 1-800-FREE-411. There's about a 20 sec advertisement but it's free listings just like normal 411. 🙂

Calls to AT&T via 611 or a direct 800 or 888 number will be free & will not affect your airtime. Any other 800 or 888 # would just come out of your airtime.
