You know, at&t pre arranges for their sales months in advance. Meaning, LG knew about their 50% off phone sale months ago. I am perplexed about something...
Why do I have 2 dozen LG Vu's and a half dozen Incite's on back order for two weeks now? Seriously, LG can't keep up with demand?
So during my downtime todayI contacted other points of distribution to see if it was just me. The results....
1) The 4 closest agent locations were all out.
2) The 2 closest Wal-Mart had some.
3) The closest Best Buy had a decent supply.
4) The 2 neighboring COR stores had some.
5) Online had stock when I entered my zip code.
6) Telesales had access to them.
7) The dipsh!ts at DMDR showed plenty.

Dude, I feel your pain. Haven't had the Vu in stock this month. I would have sold myself at least 2 to 3 per day. Eternity, we'll get 10 but be sold out in 2 days. Quickfire, plenty green but I can usually talk people out of it. Same on the Matrix on every color but green. I thought it was my company and went off on them at a company wide meeting but quickly got ut in my place. We already can't have the I Drop (cause it drops calls frequently) now this. It hurts my sales. It hurts my companies sales. And hurts AT&T eventually. I had a customer waiting 3 weeks for a red matrix all the way to their 30th day before I had to return it then sale it again before I could find one to sale. R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!!!

You know Texas Law states that someone who advertises a sale must have adequate inventory in place to fulfill expected demand. Class action lawsuit anyone?

I just got an email today with everything but a237's, Shines and Aircards backordered. Luckily I've got a good amount on hand. This is ATT's poor business practices at work again. I think someone needs to take them to court to make an example of them. I do have 2 Vu's in stock but the fact they are on sale and I don't have more of them sucks.

AT&T wants to see In-direct dealers go by the way side.
This is a fact, that AT&T dealers, COR stores and employees deny, when it is a cold hard fact.

They do have easier ways to do it. All of the new agreements have a 30 day out.
You forget that a new act or upgrade through an agent is cheaper than a new act or upgrade through a COR location.
They just want the low hanging fruit.

Maybe it's just our company, but we have had an abundance of Vu's and Incites. The ones we have trouble with are the blue Matrix and the Eternity
