Simple Question.
I wonder. I had a blackberry Curve and enjoyed it very much, mainly because it did work great and was capable to do a whole lot.
However, Since it was a blackberry, I had to find the right programs that were compatable with B.Berry devices, that was the only downfall.
I am really thinking about buying a Bold or the Nokia E71. The Bold performs so well, that I was wondering what peoples opinions are on the device now that it has been out for a while now.
Thanks in advance.

Love it. Check out pinstack.com for programs that are BB specific.

Dude the Bold is an amazing phone. If you have a curve the transition is seamless. You can not compare the E71 to the Bold at all... If you haven't ever used the symbian os then you won't like it. It is much more confusing then the BB os. I would say stick with what you know and what you know works for you...

I've used both. And currently have a BB Bold and like it allot more than I did the E71.
As the other person mentioned the BB software seems easier to use and figure out. And the Bold sounds (as a phone) 10x better than the E71.
Plus I always thought I was going to brake the E71 and I really didn't like that shiny textured back cover.

I always include Pinstack and gemblock and several other sites when I sell a blackberry.
I feel bad for customers who buy a blackberry from a rep who has never had one. At least since I had one, I know what sites and where they should go to enhance their device.
I currently have a Sony Ericsson K850 (My dream phone) however, I am having issues with being able to`carry it at work. My employer requires that I carry a phone that AT&T offers, which is understandable.
I like my job, and believe the Bold will be the type of device that can do what I want.
Which is, Move all over the internet and act as much like my home computer as possible.
I use my Internet all day, blog, post and so forth...

What you said about feeling bad for a customer buying a BB from someone who has never used one made me come up with an idea. . .It would be good if each busy store had a BB specialist, someone who owns and is very, very familiar with BB's, and a WinMo expert.

im probibly going to get alot of crap for saying this but im going to anyway...in september I was given a FUZE by HTC a month before the phone hit stores, and I have always loved windows devices even though they can get a little pissy at times, I had a Curve before that and I loved it, 2 months later I was offered a Bold, I used for 3 days, it was nice to type on, but that was it, I think the Bold is just a Curve(8310) on steroids, it can record video, and has a new OS, and the design is better, thats it.
I feel in love with the FUZE cause of its size and the touch flo 3D makes the phone easy to navigate with out a stylus, the camera is better then the bold, and it can play back recorded video better then the bold. Dont get me wrong the b...

I agree, every time a customer comes in with one and buys a new phone I pocket the 6010, I had a customer bring one in today and its next me as I type, I gave one to my dad for prepay, and I have 6 more at home
