Does anyone know when the Motorola v551 will be compatible with MobiTV? The local Cingular store said there are software issues that are being worked out, but wasn't sure of a date the phone would be supported. Does anyone know more about when MobiTV will work with the v551?

The v551 is such a popular phone that it should already support the MobiTV feature.

my personal opionion, it looks like the mobitv is setting up cingular phones that have GPRS setting for single rate streaming. i think once they start deploying for EDGE phones i believe they will have an advanced frame rate expirience.

What I don't understand is why Cingular offers support for the v180, v220, and razr, but not the v400 or v551; also, besides the Nokia 6620, is Mobitv catering to Motorola handsets only? One more thing; I've used mobitv on the v180 and the v220 and I would never pay 10 bucks a month for it (plus media net) on those two phones, the sound was great, but the picture was running at about 1 frame every 2 to 4 seconds, it's annoying to watch.
