Probably a subject that has been discussed many times but what is the deal with AT&T txt plans... why can't they have a $10 plan with like 750 or so messages... 200 can barely be enough and 1500 is WAY too much for me. I am sure I am not the only one with this issue...

AT&T does have a "Media Basic" package for 10 dollars a month that gives you 400 messages and 1MB of browsing. You will have to call into customer service about it, though. I got the package with my phone, but I switched to get the unlimited data plan because I love using data, a lot!

It'll conflict with your PDA package unfortunately.

Retention might have something, but there's nothing in our regular sales system because they want us to upsell.

Nope, sadly there is no plan for you, well for what you want anyway.

the only regular text plans that AT&T offers are:
$5/month for 200 msgs
$15/month for 1500 msgs
$20/month for unlimited msgs

If you are wanting something inbetween for a Blackberry, I suggest going to the website and emailing the Customer Service Pres or VP and give them a suggestion on offering something between 200 and 1500 msgs.

On my end we still have access to the Blackberry Personal Max package for $39.99. It might not be available through all channels, but it's BB Personal & 1500 messages for $39.99. So you'll be able to avoid paying the extra $5. As long as you're on personal and not enterprise it shouldn't be a problem, you just need to find somebody that will add it.
