Considering they have not been launched by AT&T and RIM will not activate a Bold PIN me thinks you are either getting duped or looking for attention.

Now sells unlocked phones. They may be ordering them Unlocked and selling them without a contract like they do with the E71.

AT&T has exclusive US distribution on the Bold. I do not think Best Buy would be allowed to violate that by selling the handset unlocked.

not sure about Best Buy but I know for a fact that compusa.com is selling them unlocked - for a bargain price of $800!

now thats freakin hilarious. i was told this morning that we can start ordering them starting tomorrow morning. it usually takes about 3 days to get them in.

Bigmike is full of it. I called that Best Buy again and said hey there is a guy out on phonescoop saying he purchased a phone from your store store on Monday for $350. The guy said no he didn't that they don't have any phones nor do an stores in the state of Washington. He said they understand about the strict release laws and the fines they would receive if a phone was purchased through their location before the release date.

So in all bigmike is full of it...

He's a Level 3 Putz. One, for making a false claim. Two, for putting up a phone number so people could very easily confirm he made a false claime. Three, for coming back and making the claim again after he had already been publicly shot down. 🤣

We work for the same agent and if you worked up here instead of in Dallas, you would know that the Best Buy that we have been talking about is shady and does this type of thing all the time!!! You wanna play little word games, fine, but maybe you should know what you are talking about. I had the day off when Best Buy was selling them early (and Yes, they were), I went to the store and I had one in my hand that day. quit thinking you know what the hell you are talking about when you really dont.

It was true. They did have them in stock, but they weren't letting people leave the store with them. National Retailers got them in stock a week early. I live in the same area as him.

I had a customer come in last monday with a Bold asking me some questions when I asked him where he got it he told me best buy so I called the store he indicated and they told me that yes they had them in stock but they were going fast. I called my blackberry account rep and got a phone call back about twenty minutes later from his boss saying that they had contacted the best buy store I had told them about and in no uncertain terms told them that they were not to sell anymore bolds. I went into the same best buy on tuesday and they told me that they didnt have any bolds in stock and when i mentioned that i was told yesterday that they did he just looked at me funny and said he didnt know what I was talking about.
