Motorola v635
Does anyone know when this phone might be coming out ? Also has anyone heard of any Nokia Flip phones coming to Cingular or does nokia not even make flips ??

I don't think that all four flips are for Cingular. We meet with the Nokia rep. two weeks ago. He showed only one flip. He said that Nokia had been Motorolaing themselves to death. The are releaseing one "introdouctry" flip. Just to get back into the market. When GAIT phones were released, Nokia & Sony Ericsson were the only two to agree on making a GAIT phone. Of course Nokias was much better. The rep said that after GAIT & when GSM was completely released to Cingular that they (Nokia) went from a 70% market share to 35% or so. If anyone knows anymore please let me know. The Nokia rep did say that they had four flips overseas. Cingular will release the v635 mid March First of April.

Possibly. But all four flips I am speaking of include the 850 band. Cingular is the only one that uses 850. The first 2 will be released 2nd quarter 05 and the next 2 will be here by christmas if they make it though testing.

I was looking to wait for the v635, but the memory option kinda sacares me. It says that you can use the trans-flash card but in order to have the phone ring with a custom ring tone you need to transfer the file to the phone, with 5 mb thats a littl bit
I currently have v710 from verzion but with the games/apps ring tones 10 mb fills up fast
