Im having trouble sending picture messages to my email account and to other cell phones. It doesnt go through anymore. It use to, but I get "Message unable to send" WTF is going on? Not to mention 3g was supposed to be here in my area in May and I was lied to by AT&T reps at a store cause I was gonna cancel 4 phones on the account. Now this bulls**t! I f**king hate AT&T.

1.Call or go into a store to make sure your account is provisioned right for picture messaging.

2. If 1. doesn't work, go get a new sim card. I've seen many instances where an old sim card will stop supporting mms services.

3. If 1. or 2. don't work and you have a blackberry have service books sent to your phone.

4. If 1. 2. or 3. don't work, call and file a service ticket for your line to have the issue resolved withing a few business days. If that doesn't work it could be your phone.

I'm not sure. Find a friend that has an at&t phone and put your sim card in it and try and send one. If it doesn't work then it is probably your sim card. If it does then its a setting on your phone. Sometimes a master reset will fix it.

Has you sim ever been put in an iphone, cause if it has you will need a new one for your picture messages to work again in a non iphone. I KNOW this cause it happened to me.

also another option that you should try is going to www.att.com/wireless and checking out the Device Tutorials

for your specific phone and it will show you numerous things to check on your phone to verify if the cause of this issue is due to any of those unintentionally getting changed.

Although it's not completely the same my buddy on T-Mobile once had his phone stop sending text messages.
He had to clear out his phones memory then take the battery and SIM card out for a minute or so. Then it started to work.

It sounds like MediaNet has been turned off on your service. Multimedia messages, such as pictures or video is sent through the internet on the cell phone. You must have at least pay per use Media Net turned on on the account for picture messaging to work. If it is turned on, try to log on to Media Net from the phone, if it does not, the settings in the phone for internet need to be reset.

Funny! I have the same problem! It's gotta be the service, because it does it irregardless of the phone I use, also.
