Service for At&t phones
I would like to get some input on how the service is with any phones with at&t. I live in Grand Rapids, MI and just want to know about the treo and iphone. Any help would be appreciated!!!

No, seriously... uhmm.. As far as the iphones go..? No service. Anywhere. From my experience.

Also the remaining call that I have taken in BEUC 75-90% of customer are calling in due to not being able to access VM or use internet applications on there devices. Dont even matter what kind of device the customer has. đ

if you care about service don't get the iphone. Get the treo or better yet, a blackberry.

I am a sales rep.. just put in Grand Rapids, MI into my MTi Map tool which shows where our at&t towers are as well as coverage. Looks good with any phone.

Never been in Grand Rapids but for most of the area's that I have been in, my ATT Tilt and Blackjack (the original one) were two of the best for reception. The Treo 680 I used was not far behind - all three were pretty comparable with usually strong call quality. The iPhone is definitely not on par with any of these devices as far as call quality - I can drop 2-3 calls in a row with low bars, pop the sim card out and put it in my Tilt or Blackjack, and get perfect call quality with 4-5 bars.
