According to what we were told, no you cannot. The return must go thru the same channels as through which it was originally purchased.

That's one of the drawbacks to buying online, no face-to-face contact and no physical place to take the phone back. Sometimes the savings isn't really worth it, IMO.

Good luck.

You are not supposed to. And highly unlikely that customer service will approve because of onlines pricing.... But if you buy it from CIngular.com, that is the sacrifice you make, no face to face contact, or a person to deal with

Maybe. I know you can if you buy thru Telesales, but only at a corp store like you asked.

Through telesales you are also supposed to return through telesales, and esxchange through telesales because of the pricing differences in most cases.

But if the customer doesn't or can't pay to ship the phone back, they can return thru a store. Had that issue last night... 😡

Honestly I hate that they can return it to a Corp store. Our Return Policy is printed everywhere, and if they can't ship it back it's their fault because they agreed to the T&C. It just irks me, I know they can be brought back to a Corp store but it's not right.

I agree our local managers WILL NOT let use return a internet ot telesales phone to the retail store. Again I follow policy states CLEARLY NO. We can exchange but can't return. It is soley up to the customer to return. They didn't have a problem takeing the cheaper price & haveing CINGULAR pay to ship the phone. They can again deal with the internet or telesales in returning. Nothing against the internet or telesales but the customer got the convience, they should have thought things through before they purchased a phone

Our rule in Corporate stores is(by my mgr's approval) they can swap out a defective phone but under no circumstances(whether CS says yes or no) are we to return or exchange for a different model due to price differences.
