Unlimited text messaging
I was just curious if i was the only cingular employee that believes the company is stupid for not offering this type of package; i know i would pay the smae 19.99 price for the the unlimited text messaging instead of the media works package i'm on and still go over

You're not an employee plan? We have unlimited text messaging included in our plans, but I do agree that it would be a wonderful feature for customers to have. However, there's probably some marketing model already calculated about what to do for texts. "Revenue generated v. Potential new customers." Right now my guess is the balance leans towards Revenue generated.

When you are in sales you get a "COU" line (company official use) in which they give you so that you can demo things to customers in store... A great tool to help boost your feature sales, and not too mention the free service where you don't have to pay anything unlike my old ERP line. It's great.

i'm another cingular employee who thinks it should be offered. $19.99 would be a good level to start it at.

i remember when suncom had it for 4.99 now they charge 10 every message, which averages out to be more money. paying 20 bucks is a hell of alot of money for unlimited text.

The sales portal says that Cingular may introduce an unlimited text package in the future. Just in case anyone wanted to know.

Maybe when the new ERPs come out, they will incorporat all or part of the AWS employee plan where we get free service, unlimited minutes and unlimited txt msgs, in and out.
