I haven't seen anything about this either. Of course here at the blue call centers we don't hear anything. I've still been telling people that the regionals don't have MTM included. I looked today online and found out they do. Dunno how long that's been going on.

Reginal plans do not include m2m unless you add the 9.99 bolt on feature.

I haven't heard anything. It's not listed in the Feb. 11th changes...If it does leave, it will on the 11th. There's quite a few data/voice plan changes taking place then.

I don't see why Cingular would kill their Media Works package. With VZW releasing VCAST at $15 a month ($20 with text) then Media Works is what Cingular needs.
I can understand if they are killing it to redo the package with MobiTV or something along those lines.
I'm sure that the existing customers that HAVE Media Works will be grandfathered as long as they keep the plan they are on. Standard procedure no?

in order to get unl media net, you will have to pay 24.99/mo. and there's no mms or sms bundled with it.

Well all go phone customers in the divested markets were told today they are being scrapped by suncom.Man they called into care just a little bit aske "what are you gonna do for me?, i told him nothing, you are suncom's issue, call them, then you could hear a pin drop when i said that on the other end. 👿 😈

OR have the new 24.99 unlimited wix package include unlimited txt & mms too.
im glad im grandfathered in with my 1500 txts and unlimited wix.

No way, they could get into a lot of trouble by changing your plan without notification. Especially if you're under contract. In they past they've always grandfathered in older plan features, and I'm sure they'll do the same this time. If not, I'll just have to fling poo.

I asked a rep at my store yesterday about the new media plan changes. He said that the basic will stay the same, but the works will be the same except for the data usage, only 3 mbs allowed. But he also said that if you already have the media works plan with unlimited data, it will not change for you. So if you have it, you keep it. I would suggest that people who don't have it, sign up for it as soon as possible to avoid this change.

Confilcting links from Cingular's website. This link: https://www.cingular.com/media/media_purchase shows the old media works, but if you act like you are signing up for a new plan and look at your list of additional features you can add it has the new media works pop up if you click the "MEdia works" link. So it looks like it might have changed over on the first but everything just hasn't been updated. It also looks as if they tweaked media basic too. Luckily i'm on the old media works, but for all customers that haven't switched over yet, this blows.

yup it really sucks. im a 3rd party rep, so i guess im eligible for some sort of dealer plan. if not, im def not migrating anytime soon. wonder if get a "blue" treo 650 if ill be able to use my unltd mmode hmmmm. i kinda doubt it. tmobile doesnt have as good of coverage, but ive been selling it 3 to 1 over cingular now. theyve got some kick arse deals. all they need is 7pm nights and theyd kill. wth is cingulars problem? if i buy a sprint treo 650 ill get ultd data for $15.00!!!
