Unlimited Text going way?

I heard today from a friend that called into get unlimited text and they were denyed. Saying that most carriers are dumping it. Is there any truth to that?

Going away? I doubt it, but anything is possible. As far as being denied today, I added several today. Perhaps they were speaking of the Unlimited Mobile to Mobile bolt on that was gotten rid of?

He was probably denied cause whoever owns the plan owes at&t money. Or maybe he is just an idiot and/or full of ****. Texting plans will not just not go away any time soon, but they are in such high use that I have no idea why you would even consider that as being truthfull. Why the hell do you think there are all these full qwerty keyboard phones out? So people can put elaborate notes in their phones? Maybe so they can enter in names for phone numbers quicker? Come on...the cell companies make billions on texting alone.

Actually most cell phone carriers are encouraging paying more for a texting plan because the rates have gone up from 10 cents to send and receive to as much as 20 cents with some carriers
