700 minute plan is 69.99 for two lines
60 for primary and 9.99 for secondary

3G data pakage for unltd messaging and data is 50.00

So all together 169.99

or you can do the 30dollar package with unlimited data and 200 text and add unlimited family messaging for 30 dollars and save 10 dollars

so total would be 159.99

theres a 550 plan but only certain areas are eligible for that plan and its total is 59.99 for to lines. so you would be looking at

159.99
149.99

hope that answers your questions

Thanks! So the $50 is total for unlimited text & data for both lines...not $50 for my line and $50 for the other?

Family plan - 700 minutes - 69.99 for both lines

30.00 for family messaging unlimited.

30.00 for data unlimited for the first line

30.00 for data unlimited for the second line

69.99 + 30.00 + 30.00 + 30.00 = 159.99

Thanks very much! One more question...anything on this 550 minute plan (only in select areas)? And if you changed to that do you keep your existing rollover?
...

current rollover would be capped at whatever plan you chagned to. if you go to a 550 plan, you keep 550 min, 700 plan would keep 700 min in rollover. if you are a current customer contact customer care or go to a local store to see if it is availible.

zdnet posted this.....they say to add $10 to all of these...that would make the 700 mins 79.99?!

700 minutes: $69.99
1,400 minutes: $89.99
2,100 minutes: 109.99
3,000 minutes: $149.99
Unlimited minutes: $199.99

(Note: You’ll need to add $10 per line to the family rates above).

No

You add $10 to the current iPhone features, not to the plans.

iPhone features are per line.

That doesn't include tax or a discount being on the account. The new iphone you don't lose FAN discounting. And then you have you tax. But with out that then pretty much what i listed will be your price.

We got an email this morning stating the iPhone 2.0 (as they're calling it now) will require data service at $30 a month and does not include any messaging. Messaging packages will need to be added at the current market rate. This puts it in the same price bracket as other smartphones offered by ATT.

It also stated the iPhone 2.0 will need to be activated in store by an RSC who will tether the device to their computer and activate it in ATTs system. It will not be activated on iTunes like the first.

I know this is old news for some, but previously it was just speculation. Now there's official word.

Any other markets wanna confirm they're being fed the same information by their bosses?

Ralph, I have one quick question for you. Will an existing customer have to be eligible for an upgrade, or can they get the iPhone 2.0 at any time within their contract like they can the original iPhone?

It seemed to me that there was a lot of misinformation following the announcement, and several people had the impression the existing iPhone packages would simply increase by $10 (I.E. $30 for 200 messages and unlimited internet). This is decidedly not the case and I think its important to clarify to avoid confusion. Hell, even the NYT got it wrong in the article they referenced here on PS.

I know you work for ATT, and while I generally trust your information you aren't an official source along my chain. For that matter, I don't completely trust my superiors to pass on the correct information since they've gotten it wrong on many occassions. That's another reason it's important for different sources and different markets to confirm the sa...
