I believe the LG F9100 "instant messaging" phone is due to be released within 2 weeks. The sliding qwerty is ultra slick, but I would wait for the Motorola a630 if you are looking for features.

We don't have a date for the LG a7110 yet either, but we did get in our dummy phones for it today. It's always fun to play with dummy phones 😁

As I was practicing typing profanities to my best buddies on the a7110, I started thinking about these dang keyboard layouts more. Is there any qwerty style keyboard with two shift keys and two space keys? Most phones have assigned one key to either side, but those two keys are hand ambiguous, and typists are familiar with it being this way. The rest of the thumbboard on this design seem to fit nicely into the hands, but having two of each of those keys would make a world of difference. I think Nokia's 6800 series had it the best, since Motorola's a630 again only has one of each.

You were correct..the 6800 was the best (I still have mine as a backup to my 6620) 🙂
