go to walmart.com, cell phones at&t & it's there plain as day!

LG- VU:

$224.99- 2 year upgrade
249.99 THEN $99 after rebate- New 2 yr contract
324.99- NO CONTRACT (yeah no contract compared to $399.99 then $299.99 on 2 yr w/ at&t)

The new moto Z9 is also on there for $124 UPGRADE.....amazing prices. Hate all you want blah blah blah.....I'm sorry but If I can save Over $100 on a phone & put that in my gas tank....thats what I'm gonna do!! I know Wal-Mart is taking everything over...but hey saving money is saving money...if you think walmart hurts your sales....imagine how badly gas prices hurt a car sales man.....unless your on a toyota lot pushin prius's ur hurtin!

I wouldn't buy it from them unless it's just a retail purchase. Their rebates are screwy and the retail price they're offering is comparable to the two year price that at&t offers.

This is actually through letstalk, but they're selling your info to walmart so that walmart can advertise to you directly.

Walmart - Save money, ruin the economy.

Exclusive LetsTalk Sponsored Mail-In Rebates Explained:

Why do we ask you to wait to submit for your rebate? The carriers require a customer to have an active account for at least four months before they pay us. We take a portion of what the carriers pay us and return it to our customers in the form of rebates. If a customer doesn’t stay active, we don’t get paid, and i

Yeah,

Thats the way 3rd party companies work. Some will charge you $250 if you cancel your service or don't pay a bill for the first 6 mo's or so...this is because if they didn't do that they would loose money. It's all business! I been w/ at&t for 5 years....so I know I'm not going to all of a sudden go to another carrier. They are just being proactive to cover their tails so they dont' get burned if a customer jumps ship that they gave a deep discont to on a phone!

Yep, but since their retail price is cheaper than at&t's 2 yr price (before rebate) I'd just not fuss with any contract and have no worries.

Just remember, there are 2 versions of the VU. The 920 is the model that ATT is pushing and that one has the Media FLO for ATT Mobile TV. The 915 has most of the same features, but does not have the TV built in it.

i liked the 727, it was just a little on the small side. this has the same size screen as the curve and devcentral shows that it does not contain java restrictions so gmail should work. samsungs can't be customized as much as some other phones, but the 727 got ok service where i live (in the middle of the woods) so i'm hoping this will too. on employee plans unlimited data is only 10 bucks a month so i won't have to pay for blackberry anymore if i like the phone.

Why do I think no one will ever get a phone for $324 from then without a contract?

Anyone who can purchase a LG VU from then for $324 without signing a contract let me know. I will buy it from you for $354 and pay you to ship it to me.

I have a feeling the "Wal-Mart Price Meister" is exagerrating a bit on this one.

Let's be fair to the readership here and let them know EXACTLY what they are getting.

There are certain benefits you get from purchasing from an AT&T store or agent (like me, Ralph, Will, etc.) that you will forfeit if purchasing from Let's Talk / Wal-Mart.

Do you want a chance to test your phone/service? I hope you can do it in 30 minutes or less. As clear as day you cannot get a refund or cancel service if you take longer than 30 minutes or 7 days (whichever comes first).

Look over the rest Mr/Mrs reader and see if it is right for you.

BTW I ordered the LG VU just now. I had to agree to significant violations of my privacy that would not be the case in the store should you choose to purchase without an agreement. I also am ...

Not sure if it says it there but it is worth mentioning.

You cannot return your product to the store as you can with Best Buy and other large non-AT&T retailers. As stated Let's Talk is NOT Wal-Mart and as such you cannot expect Wally World return everything policies like you can in the store.

I just find it interesting that Lets Talk can sell the phone for less than AT&T sells it to us. It makes you wanna get in on these National Retailer discounts. Maybe if we opened a web business along with the stores we could get the entire inventory for less?

Our agreement was modified last year to state only two restrictions on handsets:

1 - If we do not buy a handset from AT&T but a rebate is paid on that IMEI that rebate amount is deducted from our compensation

2 - Handsets sold by us as dealers must use the proper software to work on the AT&T (Cingular then) network.

Considering Mr. De la Vega stated they now have an open network that portion of the agent agreement is null and void according to my attorney. We must provide sufficient documentation to customers explaining that they may not be eligible for warranty exchange and a 30 day return policy from AT&T if they buy any non-AT&T branded equipment. Our store policy is that we must follow manufacturer stated exchange policies for...

Look at their definitions of "cell technologies"

From the link:
GSM was originally developed in Europe where it operates at 900 MHz and 1800 MHz. North American GSM which operates at 1900 MHz is only used by PCS providers.

Only PCS providers? Only 1900 MHz? I guess there's no such thing as 850 MHz according to Wal-Mart/Let's Talk.

The bad news. Since European and North American GSM operate at different frequency bands, you can't use your North American GSM phone while traveling through Europe.

The good news. Most GSM phones use a removable Subscriber Identity Module (SIM), more commonly known as a smart card, containin

So I ordered five of the Samsung Access when they were $199.99 cause well, that's a great price. And oh my do I regret doing so.

First order is on my hands just fine.
Second is on it's way.
Third was canceled automatically.
Fourth with two phones is BS.

My third order that was automatically canceled I thought was error so I called to get it replaced. They argued with me for a half hour about wanting to charge me the current price of $389.99. I think I should get it for the price I originally ordered it at. I didn't cancel the order so why should I have to pay more. Gave up on that one.

My fourth order was held and they called finally to say I can only have one of the two, fine, policy is policy. However with my shipping invoice I...

It gets worse, I called to notify them of the billing error today and they looked at it and said it's right, their reasoning is because the websites current price is the same thing. They won't listen when I say prices change and flectuate. When I told them I had another one at $199.99 just fine they told me they would find the orders and bill me the difference. I have documented everything that has happened and at this point I'm sick of it.

I finally got some higher up to admit there was an error and several were actually sold at $199.99 so they finally credited me. I guess I shouldn't be angry at the staff, they didn't know but they also weren't willing to even look into it. I had to threaten legal action to escalate.
