phones for internet browsing > best?

Any AT&T phone can be a great web browser. Just download the latest version of Opera Mini 4.1 (beta) on your phone and be happy.

ditto, opera turned my small screened non 3g w810 (which i love) into a respectable browser mainly cuz it allow you to view in landscape mode. so if you dont want to spend much $$$$ look for a phone with a big screen and load up opera

sorry to bump my own thread, but is it correct in saying that t-mobile operates on just 1900 (not including fellow roaming companies)

Never used Opera - got 10 days left to decide on keeping my 6555,bought online for 50 under a contract. Can it run Opera? Would anyone suggest a jump up or lateral for a N95 or some such .. ? can't pay a TON more if I loose the 6555, a refurb I do like.
